Terms and Conditions
The Buyer (that's you) has the right to be pleased with his or her purchase, and if s/he is not, has the right to have the item fixed, exchanged, or returned for a refund, provided the Buyer pays the return postage and the item returns in saleable (or at least fixable) condition.
The Seller (that's me) has the right to refuse to sell to abusive, excessively annoying or otherwise ill-behaving clients. The Seller also has the right to have the chance to correct any problems encountered by the Buyer without suffering reputation destruction; in other words, don't bad-mouth me behind my back before giving me a chance to solve the problem.
Knotwork does not require Registration for a Buyer to place an order. The Buyer may Register if s/he wishes, but the Seller does not blog, run a mailing list or newsletter, or have time for Facebook, tweeting, etc.
The Seller does have the right to be paid for any orders shipped, and to resolve questions of lost orders with the Post Office.
The Buyer who requests a special order, especially in quantity, must realize that such things are generally not returnable, though the Seller will work with the Buyer if possible. There may be a small restocking fee on such items. For something like a commemorative bobbin with woodburned lettering, it's not possible. The Seller is happy to send a sample for large orders so that all details may be settled before production begins, because after that, it's too late.
Items on these webpages are photographed as they come into stock. On the shawl pins that do not have tethers, a stick might get switched, but other than that everything is WYSIWYG.
Items will be shipped as soon as humanly possible. Since the seller does have to work for a living, and only has about an hour and a half a day to turn, it may take a little time. The flat shipping fee includes postage and packaging. For larger orders, the Seller will pay for insurance as needed. At this time I am only able to ship within the United States.
